August Favourites

Hello and welcome to monthly favourites which I typically film for my YouTube channel. Perhaps some of you still enjoy reading blog posts so I thought I would give it a go! I like to include a mix of products such as beauty, skincare, books, and food. I forgot to mention what I’m currently reading in my video so I will mention it here. It’s called Within These Walls by Ania Ahlborn and it is so spooky! If you are into the Supernatural, Cult thrillers, think Charles Manson, you will love this. It is brilliantly written and utterly captivating. A new discovery for me this month has been Coffee Mate. I think it’s an American thing like creamer? anyway, I found it at my local supermarket and can let me tell you it’s amazing stuff! Makes my black coffee incredibly smooth and silky. I’d say it’s an alternative to milk.

Urban Decay Ultimate Naked Basics A fantastic collection of matte shades that are so wearable for every day or a smoky, sultry makeup look. They are super blendable too!

Vichy Dermablend

A full coverage yet lightweight foundation that is dermatologist tested for even highly sensitive skin like Rosacea and Acne. I love this stuff! You can read a full review here

Jo Malone English Oak and Redcurrant

If you are looking for a new Autumn/Winter fragrance look no further! This is a magical mix of soft, spicy, fruity and woody. It’s warming and sensual and perfect for an Autumnal walk through the woods.
Palmers Foot Magic

My feet are always dry as a bone, and this stuff has kept them semi-bearable! Add some super fluffy socks for extra nourishment.
Coconut Body Oil

I got this purely for my dry cuticles and it works an absolute treat! I keep this by the bathroom sink so everytime I wash my hands I don’t forget to apply!
Elemis Marine Cream

Well, what can I say but Elemis is one phenomenal skincare brand and it’s best selling Marine Cream is divine for post Summer skin. There are two formulas, one for oily skin and one for dry.
Janina Ultra White Toothpaste

The best whitening toothpaste I’ve tried in a long time! It doesn’t make my teeth sensitive at all. It’s fresh and leaves my mouth feeling dentist clean!
Dove Pear and Aloe Deodorant 

We all need one I guess and I like this one for my gym bag.
Dove Exfoliating Cream Bar  I love a bar of soap and this smells so clean and fresh plus it has tiny exfoliating bits in it for extra polish! I use this with my Japanese washcloth and it’s amazing!
