COFFEE AND A GOOD BOOK
I was never a massive reader but in the last two years I have read more books than I could have ever imagined. I find that it really helps to relieve my overthinking brain, especially at night time. I cannot imagine going to bed without reading now. I like to read on Sunday afternoons with a cup of coffee, it’s soul soothing. Reading takes you out of your head for a few hours. I love fiction especially psychological thrillers and gothic novels but I also like to read about mental health, from real people that write in a way that is relatable and understandable. I can’t stand those books that refer to university experiments every five seconds. I want to know about real life experiences with practical guidance that’s achievable.
I typically read on my Kindle as the books are so much cheaper than in store and I can keep track of everything I’ve read. It also makes reading at night a lot easier without the need for an extra reading light.
