January is when most of us rush back to the gym to burn off those Christmas calories. I however started in November this year, so I feel accustomed to my workout regime now and a little less guilty for stuffing my face. I am one of those who flit back and fourth gym wise. I never really felt comfortable with the gym floor and the machines so I would get frustrated and give up. I’ve joined a fitness training programme which is more or less personal training involving exercises that are tailored to your specific needs. Consistency has always been an issue with me but with a set time each week I find that I look forward and stick to it. I also join the classes like Group Cyle and Yoga at least twice a week. I walk to the gym when I can and that is thirty minutes there and back. I am adopting a clean diet during the week. There came a point where I had enough of the way I looked physically and I only really noticed it in photos next to other people. I seem to hold on to weight in my face and stomach. I’ve been going to the gym consistently for four weeks now and I can already see a huge improvement in my overall figure. This has kept me motivated and plus it makes me feel good. My goal is not to loose weight, I like my curvy figure I just want to be super toned, fit, lean and strong.
