5 MINUTE MAKEUP LOOK

Shaz Saed -- Blonde Tea Party -- www.blonde-tea-party.com -- beauty and makeup tips -- foundation routine--bareminerals--mineral makeup--When I need to be out of the door fast this is the makeup look I always gravitate toward. It’s quick, easy and looks fresh and natural. Even if I’m running errands I still like to look somewhat presentable but not overdone and you can never go overboard with bareMinerals. I know I’m biased but I truly believe in their good for skin philosophy. I always start my base with bareMinerals Complexion Rescue in the shade Buttercream 03. This not only hydrates but provides SPF 30. To brighten and conceal under my eyes I love bareMinerals Well Rested, I also use this as an eyeshadow base and it helps to neutralize discoloration in the eyelids. For foundation, I opt for bareMinerals Original SPF 15 which provides a natural light to medium coverage that is buildable. I add bronzer to give my skin some warmth and dimension one of my all time favourites is bareMinerals A Touch Of Sun, which is a matte bronzer. Add a pop of colour with bareMinerals Ready Blush in the shade Aphrodisiac which is a gorgeous peachy/pink. As I have oily skin I like to set my T-Zone with bareMinerals bareSkin Perfecting Veil which is my ‘Holy Grail’ pressed powder. Add several coats of mascara I like Maybelline Total Temptation. For my lips, I keep it nude with Hourglass Lip Stilo and a slightly darker liner Bobbi Brown Cocoa.

What’s your 5-minute face?

Hi Shaz, I am in awe and feel my self asking – how DOES she make those things work..?
I have normal skin, and yet….the BM complexion rescue leaves me looking a shiny grassy mess and mineral powder foundation sticks in patches to whatever moisturiser or primer I have underneath.
You would be amazed (perhaps) at what you find day to day Great for yourself actually needs explains to the more clunky of your readers/watchers! Xxx

Hi Angela thank you for reading my post! I totally understand some days I have the same issues. I find that making sure skin is really well exfoliated and moisturised helps. Also using a setting spray or mist! Try a more denser brush for mineral powder too. If all else fails apply mineral powder over your favourite foundation as a setting powder this works wonders! xxx
