Easy Everyday Makeup Look

I’m currently in the ‘less is more’ makeup frame of mind. Skin is always going to be the main focus so I like my base to look luminous and natural. I’ve narrowed down my foundation collection to two firm favourites. bareMinerals Original SPF 15 foundation and Gerda Spillmann Bio Fond foundation. Both mineral based and good for your skin. If I could own just one eyeshadow it would be Laura Mercier Baroque. This shadow is simply gorgeous, a warm taupe with light flecks of gold that transforms any eye colour. It’s so basic yet incredibly versatile. I used this as a colour wash all over the lid and slightly above the socket as I’ve got hooded eyelids. Blended out around the eye creates a halo effect, that gives this look an ethereal vibe and makes eyes look bigger. Winged eyeliner is such a statement and amps up any eye look. My favourite is Kat Von D Tattoo liner in Trooper. This is the most user-friendly liquid pen I’ve ever used and I’m not particularly good at liner anyway. If I’m doing a neutral eye, I will almost always go for a bright lip, I think this combo is so fresh and modern. I used Arbonne Smoothed Over lipstick in Guava, topped with Mallow lip goss.
