False lashes without the falsies

I don’t know about you but I am so over false lashes! I have an epic battle when it comes to applying them. I can usually get one on but then the second one just doesn’t want to work. I get it nowhere near my lashes, it’s at the wrong angle, it won’t stick in the inner corner so after removing and trying to reapply it ten times I’m left with a sore eye and most of my eyeshadow stripped away. Does applying lashes have to be so traumatizing? Practice makes perfect right? Well, for one week I decided to apply my Ardell Demi Wispies everyday in the hopes of mastering them. I was doing really well until it came to a night out and I had an absolute nightmare. I ended up with wonky lashes that I glued to oblivion. When it came to removing them I couldn’t get them off and needless to say I had very painful eyelids the next morning. No more I vowed. This just isn’t me. So I have found some very good mascaras that when doubled up with another, create mega lashes just as good if not better than falsies. Here is my false lashes effect line up.

YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils- this jet black mascara really builds lashes for a wonderful full on effect all on it’s own. I like to double this with Benefit Roller Lash for extra curl and length. The result is va va voom lashes! If you are on a budget Maybelline Lash Sensational is phenomenal for the price! People have noticed my lashes in photographs when I wear this. It lengthens, separates and is buildable without clumping. For nights out I always double up with Benefit They’re Real as this gives me the ultimate false lash effect.
