Glam Makeup Look

A glam night out makeup look is not something I do often (because I’m boring and never go out) So when I have an event or party to attend I relish the idea of getting glammed up. This is the time to go all out,contour and highlight galore! Yaasss! I almost always go for a darker eye and nude or pink lips. This is one of my go-to looks as it’s quick and easy to do and I think goes with any outfit. It also looks great on camera. To make things simples, I have listed and catogorised everything I used below:

Base

Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot Primer

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation 2W1 Dawn applied with fingers

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer NW20 applied with beauty blender under eyes and center of my face to hightlight.

Setting Powders

Rimmel Stay Matte Translucent Powder 001 all over face with a big fluffy Eco Tools brush. (love this)

Kat Von D Shade & Light – Sombre to deepen cheekbones- use a light hand and a soft angled brush.

Blush

Benefit Dallas

Nars Orgasm

I always ‘double blush’ use a matte muted tone first then a brighter pop of colour over top with a hint of sparkle on apples of cheeks. This just creates more ‘natural’ looking deminsion.

Highlight 

Delila Pure Light Aura on tops of cheekbones, cupids bow and under the brow. This is such a gorgeous product which gives the most stunning glow. Read my full review here

Eyes

Chanel Mystic Eyes Quad – pink all over lid,lightest brown in the crease and darkest brown on outer corners and lower lashline. This quad pulls rather cool on me, not sure why.

Liner is Estee Lauder Double Wear pencil in coffee. I lined my upper and lower lashline and tight lined.

Mascara of choice Benefit Theyre Real (several coats) I don’t do false lashes so this I find is the next best thing.

Lips

Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner – Eastend Snob by far one of my most favourite, most used  lipliners ever!

MAC Creme Cup Lipstick again a favourite of mine. This is a beautiful cool-toned pink.

NYX Butter Gloss – Eclair absolutely loving this brand at the moment especially now it’s sold in Boots! Happy days!
