Urban Decay Naked 3 has fast become my favourite everyday eyeshadow palette. The shades are so versatile and flattering on all skin tones. I thought I’d have a go at the much coveted ‘Halo Eye’ which consists of a darker shade on the inner and outer corner of the eye with a bright shimmer effect on the center of the lid. This gives the most beautiful glowing finish on the eyes that just looks, well angelic. You can create this with any eyeshadow shades you wish. This is actually a very easy look to create and doesn’t require a multitude of shadows. Finish with a flick of black liquid eyeliner for an uber glam look.

I started off with Limit as my blending and crease colour using windshield wiper motions from the outer to the inner corner of the eye leaving the center of the lid blank. I then applied a slightly darker shade, Nooner and replicated what I did with Limit but this time staying below the crease. For the piste de resistance, the halo, I used Dust with a bit of MAC Fix Plus sprayed onto my eyeshadow brush to achieve that glistening wet look on the very center of my lid. Au Voila!

Have you tried the Halo effect?
