It can be hard to combat but I’ve found a combination of products that keep the flakes at bay all day! After cleansing with a gentle foaming cleanser, I apply two pumps of the bareMinerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Infusion. This is a super hydrating and replenishing serum that instantly soothes over treated skin. Its light gel texture is cooling and comforting on the skin. While this absorbs I brush my teeth. Then I apply Bioderma Sebium Hydra, an ultra moisturising cream specially formulated for acne prone skin that has been dried out by the likes of Tretinoin. This stuff is amazing! It’s lightweight, non-comedogenic, fragrance-free and helps to heal and combat stressed out skin. I can’t rave enough about this gem! I had been looking for a moisturiser that does just this! It’s completely saved my skin. It’s hard to find a product that’s hydrating enough yet won’t clog pores. This is also an excellent base for makeup! This dynamic skincare duo, keep my skin soft and supple throughout the day and help my makeup stay put too.

If you are using Retin-A what are some of your skin saviours?
