Products For Bleached/Damaged Hair

I love being blonde but it does come at a cost. I happened to over bleach my hair on my latest salon visit so now I have to nourish it back to health. When I’m in dire straits I turn to Aveda for help. I have used a number of their products throughout the years and have always seen an immediate result. I picked up the aptly named Dry Remedy Shampoo and Dry Remedy Conditioner   which leave hair soft and supple with a  patent pending deep moisture complex that penetrates hair with intense moisture. It contains a blend of certified organic ingredients like buriti oil, rose geranium and palm-derived conditioners. My bale of straw hair has instantly been transformed by the first use. Not one to break the system I also purchased the Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Hair Oil  a 99.9% naturally derived, daily leave-in treatment instantly moisturises dry hair and ends. It also restores shine while controlling frizz and flyaways. I apply a few drops on the end of my hair while wet and it just helps to repair my frazzled ends. It smells divine too! Now to keep my blonde bright and brass free, I love to use the Paul Mitchell Platinum Blonde Purple Shampoo. For detangling and heat protection when blow drying I adore the Paul Mitchell Forever Blonde Dramatic Repair  a leave in conditioner with a lightweight formula that contains KerActive protein which helps to restore weak and depleted hair. This leaves my hair super soft and manageable. I disppare when I don’t have this product, it’s amazing!

Your hair looks phenomenal, clearly what you’re doing is working!! I really love the shade of blonde too, it suits you so so well.

I’m somewhat of a “bottled blonde” as I have ombre/balayage, so the ends of my hair are lightened. I know what you mean — I absolutely love being a blonde! Every time I dye my hair darker, I instantly regret it. I’m just a blonde at heart 🙂

My favorite product for helping with the damage is the RedKen Heavy Soft Cream. It’s like a punched-up version of a deep conditioner, and I’ve gone through 2 tubes since Christmas. Holy grail for sure!
