Having scraped out the last remains of my sample pot of bareMinerals Complexion Rescue and panicking at the thought of not having any more to put on my face the following day, it dawned on me that I really quite like this. This tinted, hydrating gel cream moisturises my skin better than my actual moisturiser does. It seems to smooth out my frown lines better than anything else I have used. I find it makes the perfect base for bareMinerals Original Foundation helping it really stick. I was advised to use a primer on top of Complexion Rescue rather than underneath and this trick works a treat! I have an oily T-zone so this step really helps combat midday shine. I have the shade Natural 05 which seamlessly melts into my skin making it look completely airbrushed, supple and smooth. I use this all over my face, even my eyelids which has evidently made my eyeshadows apply smoother! Complexion Rescue contains non-chemical broad spectrum SPF 30. It has marine botanicals that hydrate and replenish thirsty skin which makes this an excellent vacation staple. Mineral electrolytes energise skin giving a fresh water like sensation upon application. The end result is an even-toned, radiant complexion. You can layer for additional coverage.
