Make Up Forever Ultra HD | Invisible Cover Stick Foundation
Ok so you know I’ve been desperate to try out Make Up Forever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation for the longest time! I went to an event not long ago and had a Make Up Forever artist apply this on me, I hated it, it was too pale, emphasised my pores to no end and looked greasy. It did put me off but I feel you need to trial a foundation at home on your properly cleansed skin with your regular skincare, primers etc So I a caved and bought it. I chose the shade Y365 which is the perfect yellow-based colour for me right now. This is incredibly easy to apply and gives you full coverage in a matter of seconds. I like to apply this in stripes and blend out with my Real Techniques expert face brush. The result is a flawless canvas that is dewy making skin look healthy and youthful. It’s not heavy or cakey and feels light on the skin. If you have oily skin like me, you will have to set this with a mattifying powder. This isn’t a long-wearing foundation on me, by the end of the day I’m a greasy mess. It’s one of those foundations that no amount of blotting will help the situation. It transfers easily. This isn’t by all means a bad foundation, it’s incredible on camera so a good one for events with flash photography or weddings or an evening out. It looks good for at least six hours then it goes down hill. This would not hold up in the heat or Summer months, might be perfect during the Winter though. Watch my first impressions video below to see how it held up throughout the day.
