Summer Bases

Summer calls for lighter bases, it’s hot the last thing you want is a sweaty cake face! Always start off with a sunscreen even if your makeup contains an SPF it is not enough to fully protect you from the suns harmful rays. My favourite is Heliocare360 Gel Oil-Free SPF 50, its idea for oily, problematic skin like mine. It’s super lightweight and sits perfectly under makeup. If you prefer a tinted moisturiser over foundation then bareMinerals Complexion Rescue is the one for you. It’s hydrating with a cooling effect upon application. It provides light, buildable coverage a contains an SPF 30 for extra sun protection. This is great for beach days, lounging poolside or for the gym. If you are a foundation freak like me, then look no further Too Faced Peach Perfect Comfort Matte has you covered. I’m rather obsessed with this right now, it’s a dream. It keeps skin matte all day whilst looking light and natural on the skin. It is photo friendly so you can be confident that you won’t get ghost face on your Insta pics whilst on a night out.
