Shaz Saed -- Blonde Tea Party -- www.blonde-tea-party.com -- beauty and makeup tips -- I am thrilled that the Balm Cosmetics is now available in Debenhams. I have been waiting to get my hands on these fantastic products for so long. I was lucky enough to be invited to The Balm cocktail evening where I got to sample some of the products and speak to the founder and CEO Marissa Shipman about her creation and vision for this exciting brand. The first thing that hits me is the packaging, I’m an extremely visual person and this for me is just beyond delightful. I adore the graphics and the witty anecdotes. Most importantly to note is that the ingredients are paraben free, cruelty-free and all the shadows and blushes are talc free. These are things I look for in a brand. The Balm ticks all my boxes! The quality and texture of what I have tried so far are incredible. The shadows are so buttery and beautifully pigmented. The liquid lipsticks, Meet Matt(e) Hughes are so comfortable to wear, they glide on leaving lips smooth and silky. This has to be the only matte lip colour I have worn that hasn’t dried out my lips. Ok can we take a moment to bathe in the glory that is The Luminizers! I’m sure you have all seen and heard about the famous Mary-Lou Manizer, the ultimate highlighter but having all three Manizer Sisters in one handy set is amazing! You have Cindy-Lou Manizer for contour and the gorgeous Betty-Lou Manizer for bronzing. Take this on the go and you are ready set gorgeous in a matter of seconds. It is safe to say that The Balm is now officially one of my favourite brands ever! I can’t wait to check out their concession in store and have a cheeky makeover.

Have you tried The Balm? Tell me your favourites!
