I feel like Bliss used to be a really popular brand back in the day but slowly seemed to disappear among all the new emerging brands.Bliss is primarily a Spa brand and only recently became mainstream again. This particular product has flown off shelves nationwide ever since India Knight mentioned this moisturiser in her column in the Sunday Times. Drench ‘N’ Quench is a cream-to-water lock-in moisturiser with hydrozome technology which is what transforms the cream into water upon application. This contains over 10,000 marine micro-droplets that help to lock in hydration. This has a fresh gel texture that is absorbed into skin immediately, you almost feel like you didn’t put anything on at all. I can imagine this would be perfect for really oily skins or if you live in a super humid climate. It does what it says on the tin but isn’t necessarily a joy to use. Dry skins and mature skins probably won’t get used to the texture and feel like it’s not working. It doesn’t contain an SPF or any anti-aging properties, it’s simply for hydration. I’ve been using it for a few days and haven’t noticed any incredible results as yet. It worked well under my makeup so that’s a plus. You can pick this up at Marks and Spencer for £29.50.

Have you tried this?

  1. […] Being a beauty obsessive and makeup junkie I have tried an unmentionable amount of products throughout the years but I always come back to these select few. I have oily/combination skin with large pores and the occasional breakout. I want something that holds up throughout the day that requires little touch ups and has great coverage. Preparation of your skin before you apply your makeup also makes a big difference so make sure you have properly cleansed and applied the correct moisturiser for your skin type. I like Bliss Fabulous Drench ‘N’ Quench. […]
