Superdrug Naturally Radiant Skincare

I’m a huge advocate of the “double cleanse” and will not remove my makeup with anything other than a hot cloth cleanser as I can’t be doing with additional eye makeup removers and cotton pad etc! I want a one-stop shop for makeup removal that gets every last scrap off makeup off my face. I was a Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish devotee for years until the company changed hands and I just felt it wasn’t the same anymore. Since then I have dabbled with many a cleanser mostly high end such as Emma Hardie Moringa cleansing balm and Elemis Pro-Collagen balm both are divine but incredibly expensive. I recently tried Boots Your Good Skin per the recommendation of the skin guru herself Nadine Baggot. I finished it up to the end but wasn’t blown away. Sadly not a repurchase for me.

I had heard that Superdrug had a very affordable and successful skincare line called Naturally Radiant so I read up on their Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser and was totally blown away by the five-star reviews it had. Many had compared it to Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish but at a fraction of the price. I hot-footed it out the next day to get it and was even more delighted to find it on sale for only £2.99 and that’s including a generously sized muslin cloth. Lovely readers, it’s good, it’s very good! It is cruelty-free and vegan, infused with plant extracts, with Kiwi fruit to brighten.

Nourishing cocoa butter provides a rich and creamy formula that melts makeup and impurities away while the muslin cloth gently exfoliates skin leaving it clean, soft and comfortable. It’s recommended for normal to dry skin, I have oily/acne prone skin and I find it works perfectly for me.

I also picked up the Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Daily Cleansing Pads. The pot contains 60 pre-soaked pads in a specially formulated Glycolic Acid & fruit AHA’s which help to remove dead surface skin cells. Added Witch Hazel, Aloe and Pro-Vitamin B5 help to improve skin clarity and smoothness. You can incorporate these into your AM and PM cleansing routine but if you have sensitive skin I would suggest starting off using just once a day.

If you’ve got dull, lacklustre skin these are fabulous! They leave skin looking refreshed and glowing. I like to use them after cleansing almost like a toner. As they contain glycolic be sure to protect your skin with a high SPF moisturiser during the day because skin will be more sensitive to sunlight than usual.

This is an extremely advanced skincare range for a drugstore line and at this price point you just can’t go wrong. I am really impressed with the quality of the products which delivers immediate results. The packaging is pleasing to the eye and in most cases recyclable. So if you are looking for an affordable skincare range then I would highly recommend Naturally Radiant as a place to start.
