Best In Concealers
We all need a bit of concealer to hide a multitude of sins ( speak for yourself I hear you say ) well I do anyway. I have dark circles, pigmentation and the odd blemish to cover up. These are some of the concealers that I like and trust can do the job. For undereye, you typically want use a lightweight concealer that won’t settle into fine lines or crease. Always choose a shade or two lighter than your foundation. If it’s too thick it will look cakey and if it’s not the right shade it can accentuate your dark circles even more. When covering up spots or pigmentation, choose a full coverage concealer the same shade as your skin or foundation. These are usually quite dense and very highly pigmented so only a tiny amount is needed.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Concealer in the shade light/warm. Perfect for smooth, crease-free undereye coverage. I love this for evenings out or photography.
bareMinerals Stroke of Light in the shade luminous 2. This is a fantastic product for adding light to dark areas of the face, inner corners of the eye, under eye and cheek bones. I use this daily as it’s yellow toned and brightening but not stark white.
Estee Lauder Double Wear High Cover Concealer in the shade 2w light/medium. This is the ultimate in full coverage concealers. It is excellent for pigmentation as it has an SPF 35. Its super creamy and blendable but highly concentrated. It’s water, perspiration and humidity-resistant.
Becca Ultimate Coverage Concealing Creme in the shade banana. This is full on coverage that is weightless. Great for really dark under eye circles, scars, marks, blemishes etc. It’s excellent for sensitive skins as it only contains water and pigment. It provides a matte finish so perfect for oily skins.
